ive been playing snake eyes tc 02 irons for about 5 years now ,but because of playing in lava its taken its toll,so i decided to get the new ap 2 irons which i love the feel of ,my query is i was matched up on a machine for nippon shafts so i had a go with one in my snake eyes 7 irons and can only say it made that club an absolute delight to hit ,,so went with it in the new ap 2s and the problem im getting is a very high ball flight which could be a concern with the wind here, and also i play 2 degree upright in the snake eyes but dont seem to hit the ap 2s quite the same,so i dug out the specs for both and the lofts on the ap2 had a degree more loft on the 6 iron and 1 degree more on the 8,9,and pw also the lie is anywhere from 1 to 1 and a half degree more upright  on the ap 2s(i.e s/eyes 6iron lie 63 and titleist 64.5) apart from the 9 and pw there the same and i hit these well apart from the trajectory,so can anybody tell me if this will with the different lie and lofts have a big difference in the clubs ? im losing distance with the ap2s and think this is due to the height issue,im playing the 105t shafts for titleist in the ap2s,if the lie is more upright on the ap2 standard does that mean i need less than my normal 2 degrees as i feel like im going more left with the six iron to what i do with the snake eyes  so should i set them up the same as my snake eyes in loft and lie,or sell them on and get something with better ball flight,i really do like these clubs though if i could sort the trajectory out ,

I would suggest going to a club fitter near your area and get all of the lie and lofts adjusted...it's usually five bucks a club so not too bad...I would also deloft the clubs to the same degrees as your snake eyes...WARNING: remember when you deloft your clubs you loose bounce so your gonna dig a little.

thanks for the reply,i did go to the golf shop and the clubfitter adjusted the lies the same as the snake eyes for free, well its made a big difference now and ive had three people comment today how well i was hitting them down the range :) its strange really on the titleist clubs as from 8 to 5 iron the lie increases half a degree each club so my 8 was half and degree stronger and the 5 was 2 degree stronger,is there a reason for doing this as it puzzled me why they wouldnt stay at a certain gap in each club ? also i think im going to wait till the season starts (may) :( and see how i get on with them first as i dont really want to touch the lofts, maybe put another shaft in to lower the trajectory a bit but at the moment im hitting them right on the button so dont want to mess with them now :)
