I am so excited. Just booked my fitting for August 9 in Winston Salem NC. I have heard such good things about the new driver and fairway.

Great things, the GT line is impressive. Saw roughly 3 mph ball speed gains on both GT2 and GT3 compared to my current TSR2 gamer. (using my current gamer shaft , HZRDUS RDX Black 6.5 at 44.5")

Highly recommend to get to a Titleist fitting event if possible, you'll get the full run down in the new line along with working with very solid fitters. I worked with Cameron Buckley in SoCal, he was a wizard.

Some "feel" notes from my fitting:
    - GT2 Driver feels very similar to TSR2 Driver , firm hot face feel.
    - GT3 Driver feels different from TSR3 Driver , GT3 has a softer impact feel from TSR3.
    - Both GT2 and GT3 fairways felt very similar to the TSR line.

In the end I put the following on order and can't wait to put them in play.

    Driver: GT3 10* - Graphite Design Tour AD IZ-7 X-Stiff - 44.5"
    Fairway GT2 18* adj to 17.25* - HZRDUS Gen 5 Black 6.5 - 42"
  3. I've done the fitting experience, and also the TT University learning modules. Can speak firsthand to both the Driver, and FW woods being a step ahead of things, I cannot wait to get them in the bag!!
  4. So I'm off to St Ives (UK) on Saturday PM to get fitted for new GT and possibly look to replace my 3 wood as well (currently Qi10)

Of course I am excited, it's my first Titleist specific fitting. But my question is how much different is it to your normal "club or golf shop" fittings?

    Hi Tom,

Good luck with your fitting today! I found that the Titleist fitting experience completely surpasses the club or golf shop fittings in every way. From the vast array of different shaft and head combinations to the expertise of the fitter looking at so many variables like angle of attack, launch angle, descent angle, carry distance, dispersion, etc.; it was just so much more eye opening and informative than I have ever experienced in a golf club/golf store environment. My fitter made numerous adjustments in the surefit settings as well as the head and shaft combinations in order to help to get me the best combination for my swing.
Hope you find the experience as rewarding as I did.

    All the Best,
    Michael

Just went through an exceptional Titleist driver/fairway fitting experience today with Dave Gebhardt in Reno. Dave's knowledge and expertise helped to get me setup with a 10* GT2 driver and a 16.5* GT2 fairway. Saw massive improvements over my previous non-Titleist driver/fairway in both distance, dispersion, ball flight, and smash factor. Couldn't be happier with the entire experience and cannot wait to put my new driver and fairway in play!

I was fitted into a GT3 last week and gained 21 yards carry & 24 overall on my cally epic flash I had been hitting. Dispersion was tight and ball flight was so straight and flat. Forgiveness was insane. My bad heel strikes were still flying a really long ways. Just patiently waiting now
