I am considering pulling the trigger on the black T150's but I have some shaft questions. I have been playing Modus 120X in my irons for 5 years and I was fit into them and love the feel and I know my numbers are solid across the board.

The black T150's come standard with the Onyx Project X LZ which will look sweet with the all black head. I have briefly hit the LZ but have not had a chance to do a fitting side-by-side with my Modus to get numbers. The LZ felt fine and seemed to launch in a similar window.

I currently play the 2021 T100S irons and love them so I think the T150's will launch a bit higher but overall will have similar performance.

Can anyone comment on the launch/spin characteristics of the LZ vs. Modus 120? With my current schedule, I do not think I will have time do get a full fitting before the limited edition black T150's will be sold out.

Throughout 2024, I tested Modus 105X, 120S and LZ 6.0 in my T100S and 620MBs. Have hit 120X in the past as well.
Per spec, Modus shafts were lighter than LZ 6.0.
For Modus 120s vs LZ 6.0 (most comparable in weight), LZ felt stiffer than Modus. I noticed Modus had higher ball flight with similar overall spin. LZ dispersion was a little tighter. Both of these probably a result of being a little stiffer feel in LZ.

If you're in Modus 120X, the LZ 6.0 might be more comparable and LZ 6.5.

Good luck on grabbing those black 150's!
