I have found similar results with the left dash. I found one on my local course and never thought it would match my game so well. I have averaged a club longer through the bag but the biggest surprise is in my short game. The left dash seems to finish closer to the hole when I have wedges in my hands and it even putts better than I expected from such a firm ball. I am planning on switching to it full time once I’m through my Pro V1x’s.
  2. I don't understand how this is not Titleist's most popular ball. Best of all worlds. Nothing close.

When I went through the ball fitting with their reps we had a good conversation about it. The vast majority of players should be using the X as they need the extra spin so the dash is very difficult for most people to play. The ball is a CPO like the dot, plus, and star so it’s made for a very select group and will preform perfect for some.

Not true, the left dash is available in your favorite local pro shop, it's not a CPO ball.

Well, technically it is a CPO ball - just that they released it to retail. The clue is there is only one generation and it is not in the standard Pro-V class release cycle. Nor have they or will they release a yellow version until in the standard release cycle.

Probably because its spin and flight characteristics fit only a smaller population of golfers and the majority fit into the most popular ProV1 and ProV1x. Great that you match up well to the Left Dash and that Titleist produces a variety of ball options to fit the many different golfers out there. Wishing you many great rounds with the Left Dash.

I too am a devoted Left Dash fan, especially since I can make it through entire rounds w/o losing a ball OB with the GT2 driver. However, I'm finding that my raw carbon irons tear the covers off the Left Dash faster than they do even cheap balls like the Maxfli Tour X, so it's tough sometimes to justify the $55 a box for them. If I were playing a tournament, the only ball I'd trust would be a Left Dash though.
  9. I need to try the left dash for sure.

Made the switch last year off of advice from a Titleist rep and glad I did. Left Dash hands down the best ball Titleist has for a certain demographic of golfers. If you’re in that demo then ya it’s perfect.
  11. I have been a long term AVX player, but because of the changes to it will be giving the left dash a chance.
  12. Been using the left dash for about a year and a half. The extra distance the ball gives me is unbelievable. I also tend to spin too much so this ball actually lets me get a little roll out. Love the left dash.

I have seen the same results after being fit for this ball a couple years back. I always was a regular ProV1X guy but seeing how I hit this around the course, I'll never go back. Biggest diffrence for me has been driver distance. I have seen about +10yd difference

I’ve been using left dash for about two years. Had a ball fitting last year and fitter recommended the ProV 1x, but after a few rounds went right back to what works for me, the left dash!

Santa delivered a dozen this year but haven’t had a chance to put them in action. Can’t wait!

Will they be releasing a new 2025 left dash? I’ve been gaming the past two versions and I'm hoping they make a new model that does not scuff up so quickly.
  17. I got a sleeve of left dash when I saw it and decided to give it a try and was immediately blown away with the distance. I was playing the X for awhile and would tinker from the ProV1 to even the TP5x. Both balls are decent but didn't fit me like the left dash. My spin rate is pretty high and even with the X, it seemed a little too hard to control. What I love about the left dash is I still get the distance I want but I feel the spin is more predictable from full shots to chips around the green. I feel more in control with it.
  18. I used the left dash and found little or no difference to ProV. My swing speed of 90 + might be the cause of not seeing the difference ProV is hard to beat compared to any other golf ball

I did a Titleist Ball Fitting last autumn and LEFT DASH was the result.

I bought a dozen and the first ball in the first sleeve yielded an ACE (On the HIO thread) my sixth.

The spin characteristics did it for me - I have always been able to spin the heck out of the ball, thus the lower driver spin was key. I think all my misses are a little better but Driver length is the most important and consistent as I am officially an OldFart, but still a single digit.

I have been using the AVX from sometime now and was curious about the Left Dash, I got a sleeve of three from a golf store here, not too long after that I made the full switch to the Left Dash, now I'm stocking up on them lol

Year after year I keep waiting for the left dash in high visability yellow.

The fact that the Left Dash is in its original packaging from it’s original release is a good indication that they will not be changing that ball, including a reformulation of the cover to a yellow version.
