Same ball, different color.

I played both colors in the 2023 version last year and I didn't notice any difference in performance. If the balls did something "wrong" it was my fault. Didn't really notice a big difference in seeing the yellow better than the white. Actually, went back to using the white ones this year.

For my game, I can’t tell the difference. So with blue skies I play white, if gray, then I play white if I have someone with better eyes, yellow for myself.

As an older golfer I can see the yellow balls a little easier especially in cloudy conditions. No difference in performance whatsoever

Besides the visibility, I wouldn’t believe you’d see any sort of performance difference.

I've been carrying a yellow 1x as an alternate ball, used for provisionals or when I need to drop a ball and the cart is on the other side of the hole. That way, I can differentiate my two shots without having to change the way I mark my primary golf balls. Those are personalized 1x's, usually, with a custom number and my name plus on them I just buy a sleeve from time to time as my alternates get lost, damaged, or simply worn out.

I battled this same thing last season. Wanted the yellow ball to be "different" from the group and also track easier. Never noticed any difference in performance or feel. Love the ProV1x yellow, white or whatever other color they want to come out with. It's my ball of choice.

I would also agree that the only performance change will be your visibility. However, I like to roll on with what works as well. Good luck!
