  1. Hey everyone, I hit out of a fairway bunker yesterday and there ended up being rock under the surface of the sad. My beautiful 710 AP2 5 Iron now has a hideous dent on the lower face. Im struglling to figure out how to fix or replace this. Can anyone help? Thanks, Joe

    What are your specs?

  3. My 710 AP2s have KBS C-Taper Stiff+ in them and are bent 1 degree upright. Because of the damage all I really need is the 5 iron clubhead but Im open to any advice on how to replace it. Thanks a ton.

Joey - The same exact thing happend to my AP2 8-iron. I took the club back to where I purchased it and they sent it to Titleist. In less than three weeks the club was returned to me with a brand new head installed. The best thing, Titlesist did not charge me for the head replacement - thus, why I'm a Titleist loyalist. The Titleist customer service department is extremely nice and very helpful. Christopher
  5. Anymore ideas on this? Im still coming up empty :(

    Joey,

Take a smooth faced hammer and begin lightly tapping the bulging metal around the outside back in towards the center of the dent.  Keep doing it until the metal is back down to the level of the surrounding area and the dent is smoothed out.  You will probably end up with a small mark, but it will be a lot less noticeable.

Think of yourself as a "blacksmith" who is working the metal.  Go at it slowly and then as your confidence builds you can be a little more aggressive.  You will develop a feel for it after a couple hits.  Don't try to move too much metal at one time, take it slow.

    Good luck!

You only waited 3 weeks?! I'm going on 6 weeks waiting for my 7-iron! I needed a new shaft in my AP1, but I've been waiting for a while. I'm just glad I had a spare set of clubs...
