All my irons are 1 inch long and 2 degress upright. I want to get a new 54 degree and 60 degree vokey wedges. Should I get them 1 inch londer and 2 degress upright. I was told that it is common to just use the standard lie angle and a stock wedge would be fine. Does anyone know what I should do

    thanks

They should also be 1" longer and 2* upright to fall in line with the rest of your clubs. Te PW and GW should be .5* more upright than the 9 iron, the SW .75* more upright and the LW/XW 1* more upright (assuming the LW/XW is 1" shorter than the 9 iron). Best thing is to hit them on the lie board also. My 9 iron is 36" with 64* lie angle. My PW (AP1) is 35.75 with 64.5 lie angle. My vokey 50 has the lie angle the same as the PW. The Vokey 54 is 64.75 lie angle. My Vokey 58 and 62 are 65 lie angle.

In general, we would recommend that you get your wedges with the same length.  As far as the lie angle goes, you can go with the same lie angle or some players will get them slightly flatter than their iron set.

Ryan Crylser, who is one of our Advanced Fitters at the Floridian, posted this interesting article on wedge fits that you may want to watch. http://www.butchharmonfloridian.com/category/vokey-wedges-fitting/

Before I got my Vokeys, I played with DIY irons and a couple CG15s (DSG 58 and 64) and all my wedges were 35.25". Made the wedge game easy. When I got the 60-07 and 64-07, to keep in line with the rest of the set, I made them 1/2* more upright vs the SW (since the two LW are 35"). The issue with too flat of a wedge besides spanking it right on full swings is a tendency to pull too much on an open stance shot.
