Team Titleist,
Do you have any data on what percentage of tour pros cut their drivers down to improve accuracy? If so how much is is taken off?
Thanks!
Cath D.Carlsbad, CA
We talked to our Tour Rep and the 'guestimate' was about 30% will play the driver shorter and the most popular length was 44.5"
Lou GSan Diego, CA
Jim McClean actually recommends 44.5" for most golfers.
James BSan Antonio, TX
A lot of the pro's even take a shorter length by gripping down a bit with the driver to get even more control. I think AK does this on most of the clubs in his bag ?

I use an Aldila NV 55 Shaft stiff flex it is about 46"+ would cutting it to 45" make is stiffer?
I have a 910D2, 10.5*, with an Aldila NV 55 stiff flex, 46.25" if I cut this to 45" wouldnt this make it stiffer?

Cathi my name is Dan W.
My concern is with the shaft in my club? I looked on the chart but the shaft in my new driver wasn't on list.
The shaft in my new club say's ACCRA. M3 s2-65 DYMATCH . I have registered my new club but I realize Titlest is not
Responsible for counterfeit products ? Any information you can give me would be great! Also am I correct to believe that
The S-2 indicates my shaft is a double stiff shaft?
Thanks Dan W.

Your height plays a significant role.
