Hi. I'm kinda new to the forum and have a couple of questions. I plan to buy one of the clubs listed above, with a r-flex diamana blue shaft. My swing speed runs from 85 - 90 and my normal flight is a slight (to sometimes extreme!) draw. I usually launch high and am currently hitting a MP-630 with the r-flex fujikura shaft. I'd like to get some feedback on the advantages of each club and as to how they might work for me. I can't afford the 910 or newer clubs at this point (limited budget).

    Greg,

The 909 D3 will launch and spin the ball less then the 909 D2, due to the head size and face depth.  This would be my first suggestion, since you said you hit the ball relatively high.  With your swing speed in the 85-90 range, the one concern I have is that you may need a little more spin.  Consider lighter weight, softer tip shafts to help compensate.

Thanks for the response. I stand about 5'8" and weigh 190. I'm 65, and play to an 8 handicap. Why would more spin be an issue? I've tried a 907 at an 11.5 loft and found the carry to be about 200 or so but I get zero roll. I'm looking at 9.5 loft in each of the clubs mentioned.
