714 AP2's Sweet Spot

    Recently, I just bought the new AP2 714 irons and they hit great! But I am just wondering if the sweet spot on these clubs is a little bit closer to the heel than the center of the face? It might just be me getting use to the feel of the clubs but I feel like I hit it more solid closer to the heel. If any of y'all have some insight to this that would be great! Thanks

    Most clubs have a sweet spot closer the heel. 

    Hold your club by the grip lightly with two fingers and let it hang. Take a Tee or something similar and tap the club face you will feel it twist in your fingers when you are outside the sweet spot. You will feel it go straight back when you hit the center mass of the club, It is usually towards the heel.

    Thanks for the advice! Tried it out and I think the sweet spot is slightly off center toward the heel

    Every iron that I have checked has its sweet spot slightly closer to the heel from center. On the other hand , every driver that I have checked has its sweet spot slightly high on the face and towards the toe.
