Wow, I have to admit I do not pay attention to the japan marketplace for golf very often but these Titleist irons caught my eye! Just gorgeous!!

Philip MCastleblayney,
I wonder will these be released in Europe. I hope they don't feel too clicky.

I'm getting these this weekend 4-Pw, it took forever to order from Japan. It seems that they don't have these already in stock, as you ordered them, Titleist JP would make them, I have them custom with KBS Tour S shaft, took like 2 months for them to ship.
How do you like them. How do they compare to the ap2.

$1,319.85 US .......pretty heavy price tag for six clubs 5-P.....they should be pretty....wonder what the price will be when released here?

Anyone (Cathi?) know if or when these will be released in the US. My son is interested in a set of them. --Jerry
From what I read on the internet they are a Japan only item. Of course the article was a few months ago. I believe they were released in March.

Noel: These are not forged they are made of Stainless Steel with a semi hollow cavity within it's head that features heavy perimeter weighting that extends deepest on the face and heel.

I'm getting fitted for the 716 irons September 8th at TPI Oceanside along with 915 metals and new wedges. Can't wait! If anyone's interested, call Andy for a fitting appt which starts 9/8/15. Don't know when they'll be released. I'm thinking November like previous years but hopefully sooner!
That is a long drive from Charleston, SC. You are getting fitted for the 716 T-MB irons?
jackson lRamona, CA
That sounds like fun. How much does a fitting cost at TPI @Oceanside?

Jackson, a quote from Cathi responding to another member..
Hi Henry, We have added availability to our Titleist Performance Institute calendar and you can find appointments available in 1-2 weeks. Here is some information on the fittings. We offer three separate fittings: Driver/Fairway, Hybrid/Irons and a Wedge fit that can be done individually or all together. Most players that come to our facilities are used to hitting balls and do all three together, but it depends on the player. Each fitting takes about an hour (or 3 hrs for the bag, minus putter). When the fitting is complete, we will email all the details of the fit to you and your pro (if you wish) and you can order your clubs at whatever shop that you choose. The fitting fee is a fitting fee only and does not go toward the purchase of clubs. Oceanside fits Monday through Friday at 9am or 1pm. The cost is $250 per individual fitting or $600 for all three and you can reserve your fitting appointment by calling 1-888-262-7202 and talking with Andy.

Hopefully Cathi can jump in and help me out. Cathi, do you know when the new Titleist T-MB's will be released and ready to ship in the US?
Thanks,
Ted

Late October is when you will see the new irons in the shops. More details and information will be forthcoming soon!
Does that include the T-MB irons as well. The reason I ask is that I heard they might not be available until early next year.

After hitting the T-MB 5 and 7 irons today, I cannot wait to put a few of these in the bag. At address they look very much like and AP2. I am thinking that I am going to go with a 4 and 5 in the T-MB and 6-PW in the AP2. The new 716 AP2's look very clean and very stable with the added tungsten.I am counting the days until these are released.Tyler
Hey Tyler H,
How did the AP2's hit compared to the 714 AP2's? Distance wise is what I'm interested in. The 714's seemed to be a 1/2 club shorter for me.

How do they feel can you explain the turf interaction were they clicky or soft? Also are they long do they shoot off the face or do they feel muted?
Rick BPhilippines
It does include the T-MB utility irons as well as the MOTO full set.
Thanks Cathi,
What wil the MSRP price be for the MOTO T-MB's?

Interesting look. I still lean towards AP2 but love the different options.

Below is what is in my bag, I've had my 712u "super club" for almost 2 years and just love everything about it. The only thing that I suspect that will be different between the 712u and the T-MB's, are the fact that the T-MB's are not forged and are bent stronger by 1 or 2 degrees. Both of these differences equate to lengthier shots--dependent on the player, and skill level of course.
I just happened to go to Golfsmith a few weeks ago to swing the Titleist MB, CB, and the AP2's, and the visual appeal still leans toward the MB's, but as far as performance AND forgiveness, the AP2, lead the way, followed by the MB and the CB--a distant 3rd.
What I'm getting at is the T-MB's have the combined or "hybrid" appeal (not to be confused with an actual hybrid club) of the Titleist AP2 and the MB. From all of the forums, calling various pro shops, club sellers/dealers, and general research, the T-MB will be the next club I get (depending on my home supervisor). Ha!!
The toe and heel are weighted to provide a solid, balanced feel.
The rear "muscle" is solid and completes the balancing for feel, MOI, etc. but as well improves the length of the shot due to increased club head speed, with a very balanced swing and point of contact.
The the club head interior consists of a hollow or cavity back finish to it. The rear of the club is covered by a lower-rear muscle back which covers a sizable cavity within the club head that is completed with toe and heel weighting.
The forward edge is ground down just slightly, but enough to give the player a cleaner point of contact/turf interaction.
One point of emphasis that may assist you in your decision if you're unsure ... if you do NOT have the Titleist 712u, this club should be in your bag for all intents and purposes. It is a perfect club off the tee during any condition, and it is also the perfect club to get an idea on how it looks as you stand over the club, swing the club, and pose for that beautiful shot!
Best of Luck!
Des

I know they would never replace any of my AP2's, but after getting my T-MB 31, i would love to hit the set just to see how they feel. My T-MB 3i is a Rocket launcher!! Thanks Titleist for yet another GREAT product!
