Anyone have the opportunity to hit these club yet? I just love the look of the H2, to me it is the best looking hybrid out there period, which is what we have come expect from Titleist! The H1 and H2 scream quality and performance which is what  Titleist  has built their reputation on. These just may be the hybos that will knock my 21*,24* 910H and 19* 913H out of the bag!

Can't wait for  the chance to see/hit these clubs, October 23 is definitely marked on my calendar!

I agree, these look stunning and the 816 H2 will definitely be going in the bag. Question for Titleist though...how come the UK stock shafts are the Rogue Black and Silver, whereas our chums on the other side of the Atlantic get the Motore Speeder HB? Would much prefer that to the Rogue. Any chance it will be available?

I agree with you.  I think they look great.   I'm still trying to figure out what type of player would use the H1 vs H2, they both seem to have some benefits.

I also like the look of the 716 T-MB.  Trying to decide between it and the hybrids...

I'm thinking the same thing.  My current model is 910H 19* & 24*

The website doesn't list the Left Handed model options so I'm assuming all lofts will be available.

I like the look of the H1 more than the H2, but can't wait to see in person.

    Well done Titleist!

These certainly do look really nice.  I'll be looking for a demo location in the near future to try them out and potentially replace my 913s.  Although I'm not sure if I'll get new irons first or hybrids.  I do have one question though, will Titleist continue with two hybrid lines (900s & 800s) or is the 900 series being replaced by the 800 series?

Hi Barry,  The 915's will be replaced by the 816's and in the future, new hybrids will be introduced with the irons as we want to make sure that the new hybrids are being fit at the same time as the new irons.

    Cathi,

Thank you for your reply, I suspected that the 900s would be going away and now I know.  PGA Tour.com had nice write ups today on the 716s, 816s and 716MBs.  The one on the 816s really had some great info on the changes made and why they were made.

How do you improve on an already incredible product line, year after year?

Game improvement is the name of the game.

I hit them and really liked the feel along with the extra distance.  At least 10 -15 yards longer than my current 3H.  Really like the look of the H1.  Will put it in my bag as soon as they are available for a fitting.

The 816 is a very sharp looking and great feeling club. The pain work reminds me of the late and great 975 D driver. Very nostalgic for me since that was pretty much when I feel in love with Titleist. The feel is very solid with high launch trajectory off the tee and mid-high launch off the turf with the pre-worn sole. Solid feel. I love the weighting right behind the Active Recoil Channel just as it is on the 915 Fd, which is a cannon! I almost think that I would love the 915 D4 due to this. The 910 and 913 are great but great keeps getting better...Welcome the 816!

So glad they put the hybrid release in line with the irons.  Make so MUCH sense. Great job Titleist, can't wait to take a look first hand and try them out

Does anyone know if the 913 sure fit work in the 816??

  18. Hi James,

913H adapters will work in 816 heads, but the adjustments will remain in .75 degree increments because the shaft does not have the new delta adapter.
