My all-time favorite irons were the Titleist 680s and 690s. The new 716MBs were inspired by the 680s, and I can't wait to hit them!

My favorite set of Titleist irons is my current set of CB/MB combo. The feel and workability is outstanding, and I can't imagine playing with anything else. I wish I could go to a full set of MB, but I am still not consistent enough with my 5 iron to give up the extra forgiveness I get from the CB there.

I like the 714 AP2s. I have 5-P irons, 1" over and 1* up, bent 1* strong. XP95 STIFF shafts. I graduated from the silverback 5-PW, PX 5.5 STIFF. Which I purchased from a friend, think they were 1/2 over and 1* up. Have midsize golfpride multi-compound grips on them which I really like.

Mine are the original 2008 AP2 (still in the bag). I think the guys at Titleist have had their work cut out for them trying to improve on those every 2 years.

For me AP2 714 4-pw, and ik've had every set since AP line was started.

I just got my new 716 AP 2's so I'm hoping its these
Mike MRoanoke, VA
My new Titleist set is my favorite - 716 AP1's stiff with True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT shafts.
Titleist_AU_FanWarsaw, IN
710 AP2 for me.
John PLockport, IL
Ap1 714 with KBS C taper shafts. Stiffer shaft more power less ballooning effect on ball flight
jaibum khouston, TX
710 AP2 for me as well
killerbgolferLacey, WA
I've had several sets of AP2s and one set of AP1s, but my favorite Titleist iron of all time was my trusted 755s. I wish I had kept them. I might try the new AP1s though, they looked great in person
richbow9Huddersfield,
I only play Titleist woods at the moment and have only ever owned 1 set of titleist irons; DCI762 with DG S300 shafts. They were nice irons and helped me get to my lowest ever handicap
jeff lalsip, IL
The 735 were a great set
Dave NDade City, FL
For me it is the DCI 990 , my first and so far only set. Still in the bag. I have been contemplating getting a new set but I still like how they play and feel. Guess it's the "if it aint broke don't fix it" attitude. As the game starts to fail, due to distance, then I will have to make a switch.

My new 716 CB's especially the 2 iron with KBS Tour C Taper Shaft... epic club
NCBobHampstead, NC
I was always partial to a set of 990B's that I played for several years. They just had such a great feel.
Jules IBarrington, RI
For me. I'd say the 710's. I've been using the for several years and they continue to perform great. Looking at the 716 for next season!
Wade WRoanoke, VA
The 962Bs will always be hard to beat. The combination of look and performance was revolutionary, if you ask me.

Then new line of 716 AP2s are the best ever. I hit the entire line of 716 irons at TPI during a tour fitting in Oceanside. The AP2s are for my game the best ever!
Don TLafayette, CO
962 Black... Still have them. Put updated shafts in. They are still relevant. :-)

AP1 716 is now my favorite set.
Marc WNewark, DE
I absolutely adore my 714 MB's, but I was also very fond of my 690 CB's. In fact, I still have them and am giving serious thought to having the shafts pulled and sending them to the Iron Factory for a refresh.
Richard FHutchinson, KS
Have had 2008 AP 1 until today. Got fitted for 716 AP 1 which came in today 2 degrees up with KuroKage 65 regular shafts.
Only switched because of two shoulder surgeries. Hit them absolutely great in the fitting, so looking forward to this weekend.
AP1 best made.
