  1. Gents,

Is the new AP1 716 something I can consuder to test out? Have high hcp, 27.

Or are they out of my range?

    Thanks,

    Stigen!

I think they would be great. I would go get fitted because you might end up with a mixed bag set and they will improve your game tons if you get fitted

  3. Thanks John, That was the answer I was hoping for.

Being LH and old, nothing on the rack was available for me. When I first developed my addiction, I was scoring over 110. 712 AP1s were fitted for me and I'm now tracking under a 20 hcp. There are also lessons, practice and increased number of rounds involved. Anyone serious about playing more than every couple of months can be helped and improved with Titleist equipment. At that hcp, a mix of hybrids and irons may be your best combination.

I too was a higher handicap golfer when I switched to titleist went with the AP1's in two years I have went from a 20 + hcp to my current 10-12 hcp but as stated get fitted by a good fitter. Being as honest as I can be here I also have really worked on my swing as well as getting the new sticks, but I dropped 5-6 strokes just from the clubs. Going in two weeks to an advanced fitter who knows may move on to the AP2's we will see what the fitter comes up with maybe I can finally get lower than double digits.

AP1 would be perfect.  Very long, very forgiving club.  LOVES to hit the ball high and straight.

Our club has a demo set available to take out.  Ask at your club, and if you like the feel, get yourself fit for a set of your own!
