    To the Titleist Clug fitters. Just wondering your thoughts on getting fit at a Golf Galaxy or Golf Smith store. I have seen signs in both stores saying official Titleist fitters. I have a couple gift certificates and could save a few bucks. Thanks in advance,

    Under golf clubs on this site there is a listing of Titleist fitting centers in every state.  Check it to see if there is one in the city you live in.   This could verify their claim.

    I got fit at golf galaxy and in my opinion they did a pretty good job. Hope this helps you!

    My own preference is an outdoor fitting. Should you look to using the gift certificates, check who will do the fitting. I been shuffled off to a store clerk instead of the store PGA pro. I've been steered to stock sets on the rack, and other brands have been suggested. Check on fitting fees. Many pro shops will be competitive on the price and will waive the fitting with a purchase. The deal may be better where you like and trust the fitter and know you come first, not just meeting this month's sales quotas. Check to see if the store will fit you with any Titleist combination or just what they have in the catalog. I'm LH, and not all lines available in LH are options from that retailer.
