Please share your experiences! I want to try it out but don't know where they have these in the United States. I know my buddy played overseas somewhere. A quick google search didn't offer much! I live in Northern California SF Bay Area.

Are you referring to playing with neon lighted golf balls. Our course does it on occasions. They use some type of glow light on the pins. Never appealed to me, not into captains choice events, so never tried it. I would recommend calling courses in area to see who does these type events. Don't think they would advertise on the internet or at least they are not in our area. They post them on the door to the pro shop. Good luck.

Yes, I have played and it was really fun. I remember I had 4 holes left to play and I checked my phone and it was 12:03am. It was really cool the way the balls glowed and how the flags and entire course was lit up.

My country club just recently put on an amazing tournament of night golf except we called it Glow Golf. It was so much fun but the golf balls used are extremely hard...harder than a Top Flite if you can believe it also they carry about 1/3 less than a normal golf ball. If you are looking for some fun with a group of friends I would recommend playing!!
Play well!! M.K.
M.K., can I borrow your clubs to play in one of those events. Those balls sound to hard to hit my Titleist clubs with. I have a hard enough time seeing the ball in the day time. Sure not going to play in the dark. You guys have fun on the course and at the 19th hole. cheers, chuck

There use to be a 6 hole par 3 course here in Dallas that was lit up with big stadium lights. There is a similar course in Gulf Shores Alabama. It was pretty cool to play a couple of times.

I've never played in a night golf tournament but my buddies and I work at s golf course and a lot of times when we get off we go play until we can't even see the club head on the grass. It's a lot of fun but I would definitely recommend buying glow in the dark balls or using balls you don't care about because in Colorado in fall come 4:45 or 5, it's almost impossible to see the ball. It's a good way to teach yourself to rely on feel to find your ball.

My home club put on a night golf event a few weeks ago. In the UK there's companies that you can pay to come in and set everything up for you.

Played at West End GC in Gainesville, FL a few times under the lights years ago. Fun!
