Golfing for one year and still working on consistency ( im a double bogey golfer) . At my level is there any benefit to getting fit with custom shafts.

Arvinder,
Welcome to this wonder game! Regarding your question, the key word is fitted. I truly recommend that you see a Advanced Certified Titleist Fitter. They can provide you with the right information regarding equipment including shaft selection to match your current skill level. With this information, you can make the best decision in order to get the most out of your equipment and have more fun on the course for years to come.
Based on you being a double bogey golfer, the stock shaft selections on the 716 AP1s should meet your needs. However, please go to a Titleist Fitter to confirm what I am suggesting I currently play 714 AP1s (4-PW) and Vokey wedges (50, 54 and 58).
Again, the key word is fitted. It is the best investment in your game you will ever make.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Al M.
