Has any ordered 716 T-MB 4-PW ? Curious how forgiving they are. Is the feel similar to 716 AP-2 ?

Bruce I have ordered the 4,& 5 iron of the T-MB. during my fitting I could tell the ball jumped off the face, went longer, and higher than the 716 AP2. I compared my 710 AP2 4 iron to 716 AP2 4 iron  and also T-MB 4 iron huge difference. Yes they are more forgiving but to be fare I also think the new 716 AP2 are more forgiving than my 710 AP2. My opinion the T-MB is worth it atleast for the longer irons. I didnt hit the shorter irons in the T-MB becasue I love the feel of the CB's and also AP2 so i could not say how the shorter irons compare. Hope this helps.

All i have is the 4 iron.  Ive played a couple rounds with it.  I played the 714 AP2 and it does feel similar and the ball really does launch off the face.  A 4 iron is still a 4 iron forgiveness wise but im sure throughout the rest of the TMB irons will be solid.

I hit a 7 iron at a demo day and they do have a great feel. They are stainless steel and seem to be very forgiving. I play AP2s and I did not get the same feedback or feel. Decided to stay with the AP2s at $200 per club.

I have been using the 716 T-MB ( 4 - PW ) since August this year. Before that I was using the 714 MB. As you know the looks of the T-MB is like a normal muscle back iron. However, you will feel the vast difference when you hit it. The T-MB's are much more forgiving and the trajectory is higher. I have not tried the 716 AP-2, but I have used the 712 AP-2 some years back, but I still feel the T-MB's not only plays better but also looks miles better too. Even if compared to the current AP-2's, I feel the T_MB's looks way better and probably more forgiving or just as forgiving as the 716 AP-2.

Hey Guys, this thread caught my eye because I just read about what a tour pro had in the bag, Peter Malnati, used a Titleist T-MB in the Sanderson Farms Championship, his first ever PGA Tour victory. He had a 5-PW, which I thought was really cool. I know this news is in the pro circle not regular/recreational golfers like us, but I just thought it's cool to see it already has a win. Anyway, I suspect, because I haven't tried the T-MB, that if we can hit the new AP1 and even the CB, I think the T-MB would be real awesome. But I'm also hoping to add a few T-MB in the bag ...soon, I hope.

Tried the TM-B 7 iron with KBS C-Taper shaft at a demo day last weekend and fell in love with them. I am playing 714 AP2's currently with KBS C-Taper stiff shafts. Also tried the 716 AP2's but felt that the TM-B's were a little smoother and forgiving. Felt that the 716 CB's were more similar to my 714 AP2's also but with just a little less forgiveness. Probably looking to get a 4-PW set of the TM-B's after the first of the year.
