Yesterday was the first time I gamed my AP1s and SM5s and there were both absolutely phenomenal. I was wondering what is the best way to clean the heads to keep their shinny finish and limit wear and tear. Comments are appreciated.

Windex. The ammonia will cut through the dirt and leave them shiny.

I use mild soap and water. A soft bristle brush to clean the grooves and then wipe them clean and dry with a bath towel. I have a spray bottle in my garage and spray it on the heads then clean them with the brush. This keeps them clean and looking good.

I'm sort of crazy when it comes to my clubs. I clean them after every single use whether actual golf or practice session. I use a bucket of hot soapy water. (Dawn dish soap works great!) Let the clubs sit in the water for about 30 seconds but make sure you don't put the club head all the way submerged. Keep the top of the hossel above the water. Scrub the faces and sole with a tooth brush and dry with a normal towel.

For your woods and putter you can use a nice foamy glass cleaner (I use Castle) with a microfiber towel! After probably about 15-20 rounds I'll usually polish my irons with a car wax as well.

Like I said I'm a bit crazy! lol!

x2 on the windex. I use it on my 716 AP1s after every couple of rounds.
