Had a little time to kill and made the mistake of stopping by a local golf specialty store. I wasn't really shopping for anything and will not purchase clubs unless they are fitted. I asked an employee if I could hit one of the new AP2 716 irons. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! I am completely obsessed now. I simply can't think of anything but these clubs. My current irons are AP2 714s but Titleist has KILLED it with the new irons. The new clubheads paired with the True Temper AMT shafts are perfection. I must have hit 15-20 balls in the simulator and hit the same spot on the screen. I could actually see a significant indention where the ball hit multiple times. Titleist R&D team has developed another masterpiece and would love to shake each of their hands. EXCELLENT WORK!
