  1. I just purchased this driver. After leaving the store I noticed the removable weight on the back portion of the sole. After some research on the Titleist website, I see that there are options on the weight amount. I have 2 questions on this: 1) how do I know the weight that came on the driver and 2) how do I determine which weight is best for my swing? Joe in Dallas
  2. Joe,

when you unscrew the weight the actual weight is imprinted on the underside...there is also a color code...probably is red which I think is 9 grams.  The swingweight is essentially what you are playing with...D2 or D3 is standard for most better players so as you increase length of club you need a lighter sole weight and as you shorten club you need a heavier weight to keep the swingweight constant in this range...

    FWIW, Good Luck!

Where can we purchase weights?  I would like to increase the weights in my 913H hybrids.

Check with a golf shop that sells Titleist equipment and ask them to order them for you. You can get a whole set or individual weights.

Hi Mark! I believe that you should be able to order them through your club fitter/pro shop where you purchased them. Of course, the TT Staff-concierges can give you more accurate information.

Question: I recently purchased 915D2 driver, and fairway woods, plus hybrids. None of the clubs had weights on the bottom. Should they have a weight on the sole of the club or is that something that is purchased separately?

Very interesting.  Where did you purchase those clubs?  They come with all new Titleist drivers, fairways, and hybrids, and in various grams.  If you purchased them from a brick and mortar or a proshop I would go back and ask them for the correct weights.

  8. Hi Robert,

Every metal wood should have a flat weight installed into the sole of the club head. If yours are missing please take them to your local authorized golf shop and have them contact our Customer Service department.
