916 AP1 - 43 degree Wedge

    Is it possible to just purchase the 916 AP1 - 43 degree Wedge?

    And, if so, can I ask Titleist to bend the loft 1 degree to 44 degrees?

    Sorry, yes, I did mean the 716 AP1.

    It is possible to purchase the 716 AP1 "P" which is 43* by itself, any authorized titleist dealer will be able to do this for you. As far as the bending goes, not sure whether or not that's likely given that the club is cast.

    The 43* is a PW and you can order just one club and yes they can bend it to a 44*. Make sure that you get the same shaft as you set of irons and that you lie is the same. Have you checked with a local proshop or fitter?

    Chuck, that's a good point. I have the 714 AP1's, but I did not order the PW with the set, just the 4 through 9 iron. They came with a stock shaft, the Tru Temper XP95.

    All Titleist dealers can order (just) the standard PW (43 degrees). You can specify shaft, loft, lie, grip, and swing weight. The dealer/pro shop can let you know the final price. Titleist doesn't charge for customization other than possible shaft or grip upcharges

    I ordered just the 6 iron (716 AP1) before pulling the trigger on a full set. They should be in later this week.
