So I struggle with launching the ball in the air and would love to see an 11 degree driver by Titleist. I have tried a 12 degree but can never dial back the spin numbers with that loft and the head weight just seems too light for me. Even though a 10.5 driver can be adjusted to 11.25, it doesn't seem to help me get the ball in the air. Has Titleist ever considered putting out a driver with more loft options or a Sure-Fit adapter with more options?

FIrst off, I struggle with all sorts of things... :-p

I'll bet that just like me lately, the problem is not the specs of the driver head. There are so many different factors that I'm sure one is right for you. Maybe a dumb question being on here, but have you had a fitting? Between the different shafts, flex points, head lofts, head sizes, surefit settings... and don't forget the all-mighty swing!

When I struggle, the problem is usually my swing!

Try the 917F3 (13.5)....It's considered a strong 3-wood. I've actually hit it almost as far as my driver........

@B.A Yes, I did a Titleist fitting this fall and was fitted for a 917D3 10.5 with a Speeder 661, 14 gram weight in draw bias and my launch numbers were still low, below 10 degrees, however this combination performed the best for me.

@Edward K I had a 13.5 913Fd and couldn't get that thing off the ground from the fairway. It was good off the tee but took up a spot in my bag because I still needed to carry a FW that I could hit off the fairway.

Yeah, my swing needs some work, strong grip, shut clubface at the top, no idea how Dustin Johnson gets the ball so high in the air. Guy is a marvel.

I hit a 915 10.5 Titleist driver with a 60gram Reg flex shaft mine also was low with spin I went to a Titleist Fitting and he change mine to a 50 gram reg flex 12.0 deg loft now it's higher and longer with less spin

I believe you already stated the challenge and I believe it's in your setup. The right answer may lie in receiving a lesson. Just my opinion

@ Chris Hatem Angle of attack is steep. My swing is too vertical, need to get flatter. Vertical angle of attack comes from the old days when we were all taught to create a huge amount of lag on downswing.

@Denny W Thanks for suggestion, I might try that set-up, when I tried a 12 degree head, we used a 65 gram shaft.

@Greg K Been through plenty of lessons and I know what is wrong with my swing, just a matter of finding time to work on it and dealing with cold weather.

Thanks to everyone for their replies and suggestions.
