C16 advantages over 917?

    I've seen a few different threads about the C16 and the resulting 917 design from that concept but I didn't see any info from a titleist Rep as to any actual advantages of the C16 over the mass produced 917. I love my 917, first driver I've hit well in a while, was just thinking if the C16 is basically the same but offered a little extra advantage I may give it a try, there are a few floating around on eBay in the $500 range which is what I paid for my 917 so it seems pretty equal now as far as a money outlay, any thoughts? Any titleist Reps on the board that could point out any advantages to the C16 and its more unique materials etc etc?

    I'd love to see know about this too. I'm loving my 917 but am very tempted to get a C16 too .. partly out of curiosity .. but mainly just out of desire for one!

    I'm convinced that my biggest advantage with a 917 over a 913 was how I was fit. Buying a used C16 that wasn't set up for me would be hit or miss. Buying one used and then pulling the weight and shaft from my 917 to get the C16 close to the 917 doesn't seem like a good use of $500. I'd try to get fit and if a new C16 made a difference that I like, then I'd get one. Of course, I'm convinced the 917 is an unbelievable monster as is.
