  1. I am close to getting a set of AP2's. If I would strengthen the loft from 27 to 26 would it change the offset?

Generally, strengthening loft will decrease the bounce by about the same amount, and it will add some offset. The reverse (weakening loft) will do the opposite. Will you notice the change in offset with a 1* loft change? Depends upon how critical your eye is, I suspect.

Before I consider tinkering with the lies and lofts on my clubs, I always discuss it with my fitter/club repairer, who has been in the business for a long time, Titleist certified, and the very best in our area. We make a decision based on my swing, if it is really necessary, and the result that I am trying to achieve. I trust my guy. Sometimes getting that extra few yards, requires a visit with my head pro at the course for a tweak in my swing. I went from 714 AP2s to 716 AP1s. Like the feel and the added distance. At 70 need all the help I can get.
