I have not been pleased with my bipolar game lately and have an appointment with our head pro (Master Instructor) at 10am on Thursday.  He recently got in the newest Trackman and is going to put that baby to work.  Looking forward to the assessment.  Said I will be hitting sixty golf balls with different clubs to get an overview of my game.  Am very excited.  Need to do something with spring around the corner and our first Four Ball tournament in about two months.  Just recently changed my grip to the Vardon grip and have picked a little more distance and accuracy in my irons but need a tweak in the consistency. Want to have a little better success in the senior tournaments this year. Have the best equipment, just need to have their back...ha..ha...

  2. I know what you mean, I work with a swing coach once to twice a month, his name is Rick Sellers, golf channel academy teacher, located in central Illinois, the best golf swing is one that is repeatable, proper swing plane, proper grip, proper stance, correct knee flex, proper spine angle, the list goes on and on. Most of the people I see play or play with, don't understand the fundamentals of the golf swing, and have no desire to want to improve upon it, it takes time and a strong desire to want to improve your swing, I love working with trackman, the numbers, are a look into your golfing soul. My coach was worked with tour pros, and still stays in contact with them, the knowledge one can receive from listening to people like Rick, will take you to the next level if you want to put in the work. May your upcoming season be filled with birdies, and pars, maybe even a eagle or two!

Due to time constraints we were not able to do the Trackman Combine and went straight to the problems. With his keen eye we had it all figured out in a few minutes and then we worked on getting me on plane. Guess the -1/-1 is good, he said it was. Was a little wristy and did not realize it, hands not far enough ahead of the ball and my club face was a tad off left. Spent another hour hitting balls and took what I learned to the course today. Saw the results I was looking for in my irons but have lost a few yards but according to my instructor that is normal at first. He said my distance will return with the changes made. Felt good to have that confidence back. Focused so much on tee to green that I seemed to have left my putting stroke at home. Or maybe just had too much going on mentally today, even though I did shoot two strokes better than I did before the lesson. There were opportunities on the greens just could not get the feel today until the last four holes. I am confident it will all come together. First tournament of the season coming up on March 11th and 12th. The City of Charleston Men's Annual Four-ball Championships. We paid out entry fee today.
