Does anyone know of any method of getting rid of an ugly ball mark on the toe of my AP2 iron? It's a reminder of an awful shot I'd rather not remember and annoys the hell out of me.

I also have that problem, i have heard of possibly re-chroming the clubs. the easiest ways to keep more from showing up is to make shure the clubs stay clean and than the ball you are playing is clean.

You might try a small polishing attatchment package for your hand drill. Sears has one. i just cleaned a set of 962 irons. Worked well. You get 3 blocks of polish and 3 different sizes of buffers for under $20.

keep your clubs clean. i clean my clubs about once every few weeks and i use a small bleach water to keep them clean. i've never had a perminet ball mark after that. and i do have a high swing speed.

Buy your clubs a toothbrush and clean them after every round with ordinary dish washing liquid. If you go to a motorcycle shop, or possibly an auto parts store, get some chrome polish. It's a VERY gentle abrasive polish that will let you get the toe clean with no damage to the chrome finish.
