Hi All.
So have any of you used a TOWEL to straighten a golf shaft with a (slight) bend in?
So looking at my AP2 I just got delivered and the 3 iron had either had a fight with The turf, sat on, bent to decrease the loft or been smacked over someone’s head, lol.
I don’t often use a 3, but sometimes it comes in handy when the wind is howling off the coast.
Will remember years ago when helping in the local pro shop watching a shaft get “moved” back into position but rubbing the area firmly with a golf towel till it was just too hot to touch and moving the shaft with just enough force back into place.
Well tried this and worked first time.
Anyone else used this method?
Great for a temp fix, will look at reshafting if the club becomes more of a permanent fixture in the bag.
Cheers Ian
