I was wondering why there isn't a D1 or F1 in the 909 or 910 series (i understand there was a Dcomp) but why skip over 1? was there ever a d1or f1 in the works and just didn't pan out? It just seems odd that Titleist would just start off at 2.

They made a 907D1 and it was probably the worst offering they produced in the last 10 years for drivers so maybe they decided to completely put it in the past. Just a thought :p

I hear you but then why not scrape the D all together?

Don't really think they need to offer a third option of a higher spinning driver like the 909D Comp or the 907D1 with the new 910D2 with its adjustability.  With the adjustability of the new driver you can easily change the settings to incease loft and spin with the 910D2.  Just my opinion.

I was simply talking about the name  not anything else why would they skip over D1 and F1 why start at 2?
