Won't be released, as TSR line is no longer active. Possibly a new GT version of it next year.

It was a prototype. No announcement or hint if it will be released to the public. Nor if it and the 2+ fairway will both, one, or neither be available in the GT line.
  4. I hope this happens I am really thinking about switching over to a mini driver next year for the increased loft as I think it may help my game as even though I am a shorter hitter I very rarely use 3w off the deck and have been contemplating mini driver and then 5w and 7w or some other combination at the top end before my t-350 4 iron so if the testing gods are listening I am happy to make the 1 hour drive out to Acushnet to let them use me as a high handicapper lab rat

Well, no harm in asking. Not likely you’ll need to fill your gas tank, though.

A smaller face won’t help a higher handicap nor necessarily launch higher. Between 12 degree heads and shafts that launch higher, a 13 degree mini-driver won’t add much, and will be far less forgiving Assuming the mini-driver has a shorter shaft, this won’t trend for more distance. A good fitting with a standard size GT driver may be your best solution to get the most from your swing.

If you’ve bought off the shelve or fitted off the rack at a retailer, there is a high probability you don’t have the right setup. Titleist hires competent fitters whose only goal is to get the best match to you. The $100 fee is applied to a purchase of a club fit to you. There is no up charge to place a special order over going to Dick’s. If you settle on an exotic shaft, you will also have a choice of a matrix shaft that is not extra.

I'd like to see a mini in the GT line.
  7. Yes so would I was hoping it would come out in the GT line up. Ended up grabbing another brand and it lasted under 30 shots on the range before I cracked the face and no replacements in Australia so full refund. Hopefully one comes out in the GT and will grab that.

From what our Titleist rep told me, the TSR Mini Driver was actually a prototype GT Mini Driver. It was labeled TSR because the name GT was not finalized yet. So it this is the case, Titleist could re-badge the Mini Driver and release it rather easily.

It seems that min drivers seem to be selling out at retail locations. The TM one is hard to find and the cally one sold out in a week. Don’t know why Acushnet doesn’t want a piece of that pie.
