I have a 2001 Scotty Cameron Bullseye flange. I would love to add a little weight to it. However, I do not want to look down at lead tape. Will putting the lead tape on the bottom negatively effect the way the ball rolls?

Ken, I also did not want to have lead tape on my putter, top, bottom or back. I suggest you do what I did with my 8802. My club guy add lead powder down the shaft with a cork. You might think that would cause an open face on contact but if anyting it does the opposite. As a matter of fact I had to go back and have him take some of the lead out as my greens got faster. Try it, I bet you'll like it. Michelson has put tape on the back of his putter at times so I don't think lead tape will affect the roll, only your feel.

Actually putting it on the bottom is the best spot to add lead tape too on a putter. Just make sure to smooth it down with a wooden pencil or dowel so it is nice and smooth.
