  1. Looking to buy a new travel bag. I have a Titleist Hybrid 14 stand bag. I was looking at the Club Glove Travel bags which seemed to have great reviews but I was concerned that the Collegiate Bag might be too small.

    Thanks for your recommendations.

Personally I prefer the SKB Hard shell travel cases. Mine has been all over the world and never an issue. When I fly on Delta it meets the specifications of a piece of luggage and no extra fees. I have a Titleist lightweight carry bag I put in it to keep the weight down. My recommendation when flying. No hassle, except will most likely need SUV.

ClubGlove (several sizes) will be the most recommended, unless you want a hard case!

The Club Glove Last Bag (larger size) is the way to go. It’s a healthy investment, but worth it in every way. I’ve had mine for about 15 years and it’s bulletproof. The extra room is perfect for shoes, rain gear, dirty clothes, etc. It’s the best IMO.

The Club Glove Last Bag Large Pro allows extra space and will fit your golf bag perfectly. I have a Midsize Staff Bag. You have the option of buying the Titleist - Club Glove, but you would have to buy stiff arm to protect your clubs.

I'm in agreement with John M and Diego D. I use the Club Glove Last bag with the stiff arm. I have had that bag for about 8 years and it has not failed me yet.

It is a decent investment but well worth it.
  7. I faced this same question a couple of months ago and went with the Club Glove Last Bag and I have no regrets. The Stiff Arm - combined with removing the heads of woods and hybrids - gives me great confidence even when seeing the bag handlers toss the bag around. It was the best choice for me.

I echo the comments on the club glove by far the best in the industry and won't trust anyone else with my clubs

I know the thread is a bit old, but now that Titleist and Club Glove are one and the same, thought I'd bring up the Hybrid 14/Collegiate question again. My travel bag has bit the dust (and was a little snug for my new Hybrid14 anyway) and was hoping that someone's given it a try.

Took my Cart 14 bag in my SKB hard case to our TTI event at Scottsdale. I am a hard case guy.

The airlines are more careless than ever. We went to Europe in July and they destroyed my suitcase. Ripped two wheels out of the bottom on the return trip and cracked the top. Delta replaced it. BUT. Strictly a family trip. No golf.

I have a 10 year old club glove. Got it through my pro shop so it has the Titleist logo since Titleist offered it. It has been over the pond twice, numerous TT San Diego events, every TTI except TPC Sawgrass and The Staits. Also multiple states while I traveled to work.
I use the straight arm to protect the woods. Still holds up and Jerry Kelly knows his Club Glove doesn’t say Titleist. We have been on the same Sunday evening to Madison with clubs twice.
Traveling as a single golfer, I can rent a Nissan Sentra or Altima and the Glove fits in the trunk unseen. A hard case requires a midsize/large SUV or a second row seat turned down. I like I can travel with no clue I have a couple of grand of clubs inside.
The only damage so far is the holder for a business or id card is starting to unravel. Other than the bag being dirty from the loading, never had an issue with the clubs.

I would look at the Titleist Travel but ship sticks uses Club Glove and they are great. You can put towels around the clubs to keep them from beating against each other. Good Luck!!!

i have an SKB hardshell which has done an excellent job of protecting my clubs. However, I've had it over 20 years and it doesn't fit my Players 4 because of the large plastic collar. In addition, you do need a large vehicle to haul it around, so I'm going to pick up a Club Glove, probably the collegiate version.

I just turn my Players 4 bag on its side and it works in my SKB. I have a Club Glove Collegiate too. They are great bags but know that some airlines will not insure clubs in soft cases. Check your airline’s policies. I have had TSA repack my clubs where the legs have been exposed to the softer front of the case and then bent by other luggage thrown on top. I solved it by cutting two pvc pipes to slide over the legs.

I had the ogio alpha for a bit. Then switched to the sun mountain club glider. GAME Changer. The convenient factor of rolling freely through the airport without needing to lift the bag.

I’ve gone on 6 trips with it so far and it’s great. Gotten so many travelers asking about it rolling through the airport or hotel lobby.

It’s big enough to hold a vessel player 4 bag with some additional storage for shoes and flip flops.

The rollers and frame is pretty strong. My 3 year old daughter tested it out by riding on it. (Sun mountain please don’t void my warranty) lol.

Once you get to your destination it folds in half for pretty easy storage. But the Sun mountain club glider with a stiff arm stick is a solid combo.

  17. I’m just back from holiday and bought the titleist club glove college bag - best thing since sliced bread, superb, and included stiff arm made all the difference also managed to fit shoes and other bits in there - don’t hesitate with anything titleist luggage wise (also got the backpack which was superb too!!)
