Took part in Veteran Golfers Senior Qualifier this past weekend at The Ledges in St George Utah. It was the 12th hole par 3 128 yds, playing into a little bit of wind and playing up. I took an 8 iron, not sure why but aimed at the flag, was only hoping to be on the green for chance at birdie or par. So I just hit it, went to the green saw 3 balls, I was thinking I'm in the rough or down the hill which would be worst. One of the other golfers went to the hole and motioned for me to come over pin, I looked down and behold my Titleist True Soft was at the bottom of the cup! First one ever for me .

    Congratulations !!
It is one of the best feelings ever. I don’t know how to put it into to words to express what it’s like.
I myself, walked around the entire green to include the 3 or more sand traps. Like you, the last place I thought of, was the cup…. It’s amazing to watch your ball in flight and land, then roll…but then you lose sight of it.
I am not sure about you, but I never expected it. What a great game it is !!

    Thank you Dino S.
You’ll get a good laugh reading this. Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve seen my own post. I’ve tried to find, the “Whole in “ section, or stories that have been posted. But, for whatever reasons until just a few days ago, I figured it all out. Just needed to “ read “ a little more in my profile area. I thought to myself….” You goofball “ !
I was extremely proud of myself that day. Especially since it happened with my Father-in-law. Even though He wanted to deny me ! LOL. That and I have 4 titanium rods and 14 screws over 5 vertebrae’s. T-12 down to L-4. When I was in the Service, I got tag in my 5th year. I was paralyzed chest down, for about 7 weeks. Talk about life changing moments. Then I was able to start moving my toes and so on ! Rehab was worth every bit of pain and time, to be able to walk again. Especially to finally, get that whole-in-one/ace, no less with my Father-in-law. He’s still chasing his own, while I chase my 2nd. You just never know how or why, when it will happen. I’ve come close a couple of times again, by a couple of inches.
But that’s what’s so exciting !! I Love This Game. You have a great week, Sir.
