Play in a match league on Thursday evenings, this happed on August 1st, 2024 at approximately 8 pm . this was my last hole of the evening on a Par 3 at 149 yards, used a 8 iron, beautiful day of 89 degrees with a very light SW wind, the Hole was playing slightly downwind , with a front Pin location on the green, we watched the ball land and roll but lost sight of the ball due to curvature and slope in the green. upon approaching the green , we noticed a ball on the green, just assumed it was my ball as other players we thought missed the green, approached the ball and turns out it was not mine, we looked a little bit in the rough but did not see my ball, the person i was playing with then asked if I looked in the Hole, we both walked up to the flag and observed the Ball in the Hole.
