It was my second time out on the course, with a member and a few friends. Walked up to the Tee Box on the 6th Hole and had been hitting the ball well - used range finder and shot 176, the member told me that was not the right number. But I already had my club and trusted it. (Real # was 166) Hit the ball a groove low and came off low, the hole was 15 feet sloped up so we could not see the bottom of the flag or hole. My shot hit the bank in front of green and bounced up. I had no idea until we got up to the hole and didn’t see my ball on the green. My friend looked in the hole and said are you playing a Titleist with 3 black dots? The rest is history. - hit an 8 Iron and was my first hole in 1!
