178 yards from the white tees, I hit my hybrid (png 425 5H, knowing it was too much club but considering it the backside of the green sloped back toward the pin on the near side of the green). From the tee box it looked like I bounced short and rolled past the green. I couldn’t find the ball behind the green but decided to play a random ball I found because we had a group behind us waiting. I made the up and down on the random ball thinking I’d made bogey, then found my ace in the cup when I sank my putt

Started playing golf July 2023, have been improving my game and steadily reducing my handicap playing about 1-2 times a week (currently 35.1). Far from good but this accomplishment has ensured my golf addiction is only going to be worse going forward
