My 2 regular golfing buddies and I played White Columns last week as we do most Thursdays. We started on # 10 and I had a shaky start with a bogey on number 10 and a double on #11. So on number 12 which was playing 151 yards I pulled out my 5 hybrid and took a nice smooth swing. It looked perfect the entire flight and hit the green about 10 feet in front of the pin. I lost sight of it when it rolled towards the pin. My buddies were yelling “I think it went in!” I thought it might have rolled past and off the back so I walked to the green with a putter and 2 wedges. I looked past the green first then walked to the pin and saw my Titleist with my markings in the hole. What a fun experience! The director of golf and another staff member greeted me as I entered the clubhouse which was very special. I was happy to buy beer after the round with other members who were so nice as well.
