Well yesterday I was playing with my brother and another friend at Eisenhower USAFA silver course. We were playing the green tees and I had been hitting the ball pretty well all day, had a few arrant drives that I ended up finding but didn’t lose a ball all day. I always like to play a Pro V1 over any other kind of ball. Anyways… i got to the 16th tee box which is about 362 yards, and I knew there were still people on the green (it’s a blind shot to the green with trees blocking) and I had driven that green only once or twice before. I absolutely crushed my drive right on my selected target and I knew it was good but not in the hole by any means. We get to my brothers drive in the fairway and the people ahead of us on the green wouldn’t stop waving at us to come up, so initially I thought I had either hit someone or pissed them off but we get up to the green and they’re just yelling “it’s in! It’s in the hole!!” So I started asking the gentleman where the ball landed and he told me it landed just short of the bunker, hopped over, then trickled into the hole like a putt. It was really cool to see how excited they were for me, but at the same time I wish I would have seen it drop! The couple playing ahead are members at the course, so they wouldn’t make something like that up. Still can’t believe it!
