This was my second hole in one and my second hole in one on the same hole, but with a different pin position. My first hole in one was on April 2, 2017. The tee box is elevated and the entire length of the green is protected by a huge pond in the front and a sand trap behind it. The shape of the green is long from left to right and narrow from front to back. The yardage from the blue tees is 105 to the middle of the green. The flag was in the dead center of the green. I was playing with a new ProV1 and hit an easy 9 iron that landed about 3 inches to the right of the hole, bounced, kicked left with spin and dropped in. Watching your ball disappear into the cup for a hole in one never gets old. There were plenty of "high 5's" with my playing partners. Fortunately, we have "Hole in One" insurance at our Country Club, so buying drinks after the round doesn't kill the pocketbook.
