I was asked to sub in a weekly league. Had a good, but not great round going...I think I was about 6 or 7 over. Came up to the par 3 #8...slightly uphill...little hurt wind. I do not hit my irons really long...felt like a nice easy 7 iron. Came off the club nice...great line. Uphill so could not see it once it hit the green, but my playing partner right away said that could be close. Can't remember if I was last to hit, but as we all went up the hill to the green we did not see any balls near the cup. I figured it went through the green...walked around to the back side and did not find anything...headed to the cup....and....bang! Hole-In-One! Jubilation!! Drinks were definitely on me!!! I actually used the ball to tee off with on #9 and sorta slightly shanked it off to the right, but I found it past a tree and quickly replaced it and put it in my bag.
