  2. Still rooting for Tiger. It's still exciting to see him making a run for the win.

I would love tiger to win another big one or two then call it quits before he goes backwards again.

Rory is the guy. His last handful of tournaments indicate he is on the cusp of a win.
  5. Justin Thomas is due for a big one!

Around the middle of last year, I started rooting for Tommy Fleetwood. I like his game and his attitude.

Hoping our Titleist guy, Jordan, will get back into the mix soon. But, Tiger is still my favorite. When he's in contention, he's the only one who can get me to sit inside and watch golf, rather than play golf, on a nice day. And, for the record, I have been rooting for him religiously since his days with Titleist. Sorry he left us, but there is no denying the talent this man had/still has, nor what he has done to advance the game over the last 20 years.

Ben Martin was one of my favorites as I had a co worker , who's husband was in the Marines and was getting a run around about his early out to go to college. I made a few phone calls to a few high placed friends I had and got everything expedited. The husband was high school and still friends with Ben so he had Ben send me an autographed ball.

  15. Spent the day at the Players Championship today. Justin Thomas is really fun to watch, I’ve been following him the past few years.
  16. I grew up in the Tiger era...but watching Adam Scott win the 04 Players really turned me into a Scott fan. Lately however, JT and Rahm have been who I follow the most.

Really excited to see what becomes of Cameron Champ though. Pretty cool story considering his fathers side of the family is African American and he attended A&M where his grand father was denied service decades prior due to his skin color. Also, being able to carry a stock driver 330 is pretty cool too.
  17. Tiger. He got me into golf as a kid and made golf cool. Anytime he's on TV, I am glued to the tube. Yes, he probably gets too much media coverage and he is no longer the best player in the world. But, when people talk about golf, it's nearly impossible to not bring up Tiger in the conversation.

I'm originally from Louisville, Ky and all my friends back there are really hot and bothered by Justin Thomas. Ive played Harmony Landing, where his father is the pro, but many years before he became the pro there. I have no real connection with JT like so many of my friends, who have met the family and watched little JT become who he is today.

None the less, I've caught their fever and I find myself rooting for JT all the time.

Shifting gears, before I caught the JT fever, I loved Ernie Els, but it wasn't as much for his golf game as it was because he has been personally involved with donations, fund raisers and personal visits to the various schools around here who take care of autistic children.

Along with Dan Marino, the two of them have done a ton of charitable work and since my wife is a grant director for one of those schools, Ernie's generosity made me love him more for the man he is than for the golfer he is.
