Just curious about the tour validation process used by Titleist for new equipment releases. The recent announcement of the new irons left me with the impression that the Tour pros were being fit this week for the irons at Pebble Beach and some pros would have them in play. Just surprised me a bit that the pros would be fit and play new irons at arguably the most important tournament of the year, The U.S. Open.

  2. I think they'll be fine the amount of practice rounds they get plus all the practice chipping and putting they do.

If they don't feel right they will just play their old irons i'm guessing.

You said it yourself arguably the most important event. Best time to realise getting the most coverage.
  3. I would LOVE to get my hands on the T100's and gove them a try! The other 2 models i think are a little too specialized for my golf game. I play 718 AP1s currently

Do not know about them being fitted this week, but it was announced that the new clubs were being introduced and put in play this week. Imagine, it was their choice, that they had been fitted and had practiced with them prior to the event. Not all staff pros change their clubs every cycle.

Those that do likely have been involved with the design earlier.

Titleist got it right on the new 620 MB, so clean, love it.

The T100's do look good, I think these will be replacing my 714 cbs, been thinking about a switch to ap2s but these might get me to hold off

Saw the picture of the T300 which looks to be the next generation AP1. Looks good. Can't wait to demo.

When will they them onto the irons page part of the website, to get all of the specs and pricing and all the other goodies about them?

That information will be posted online on or about the official release date. Places like GolfWRX may post some information prior from their spies. Mike usually has had all the new irons/hybrids/drivers at prior TT Invitationals I'm expecting in August at Whistling Straits to demo on these on the range. Apparently there are still a couple of openings for the event.

If i wasn’t going out to TPI later this year, i would’ve signed up for the event. Hope you have a blast and have some reviews for the clubs if you do get to sample them.

When will these clubs be at Golf Galaxy for us to try them out?

    Thank you.
  14. I was late to the party getting my ap1's and they've been game changing for me. All the new irons in my opinion look fantastic but I will stick for now.
