  1. 2 starts with 2 wins on the Champions! I enjoyed his reasoning for not playing LV with winning too much money there last visit. Makes me wonder why some of the other greats don’t dabble in this...mainly a non domesticated cat (hint hint).

....LOL... The cat isn't qualified... And won't be until 2025. Besides, with Jim, Ernie, Mike Wier, and Phil all elegible this year, makes guys like Stricker and Kelly old news, now. Old being relative - Mr. Langer just keeps on going and going.

I threw my AARP card registration every year due to denial and vanity. Maybr the striped cat is not admiiting to Senior status.

Phil is doing awesome on the champions tour, I know he wants to be competitive on the PGA, but the PGA is very stacked with talent right now.
The Champions tour is also very talented, but Phil is the young buck.
As for the big kitty, I think he got a few years before he can join the champions tour since it is 50 and over.

The non domesticated cat must wait until he turns 50. I remember when Lee Trevino first came out on the Senior Tour. He mopped the floor with the field every week he played. Nicklaus won 8 senior majors until he got bored with waxing the field. As Nicklaus said when asked why he didn't play more senior events, " I beat these all these guys when I was 30, why wouldn't I beat them when I'm 50? "

It'll be interesting to see if he can win the US Senior Open.

The Champions Tour is very competitive with many great players. We've been to Prestonwood in Cary a few times for the SAS Championship and it's fantastic golf to watch in person. Followed Vijay, Faldo, Kelly, Monty, McCarron et al and was very impressed with their ball-striking and distance. Looking forward to seeing Phil here next October...if he's here and if fans are allowed!
