    Just noticed that under the “Who Plays This Ball” for the ProV1 and ProV1x Jordan Spieth is not shown. Does he no longer play a Titleist ball?

    Jordan Speith still plays Pro V1x. He is also still a brand ambassador using a bag full of Titleist clubs. Found his listing under tours on the site. Current OWGR ranking number 75.

    I've posted about this before. I like Spieth and hope he regains his form, but he seems to have succumbed to trap of the modern player. Constant tinkering of their swing in hopes of finding a better mouse trap. Nicklaus, Player, Trevino, Floyd, Palmer, et al. You can watch them swing at age 25 and at age 75 and it's the same swing. When Trevino was interviewed on Fehrety he remarked " Tiger Woods was dominate right out of the gate. Why the hell would you try to mess with that swing. I just don't get it ".

    I think I agree Frank. Seems like the exact "tipping point" for Jordan was the playoff with Dustin Johnson when DJ cut the dogleg over water and had a flip wedge to win the tournament. Cant remember which one it was but I bet he does. That said, he has always been a bit of a fidgety guy with a lot going on in his head. Like you, I hope he finds a way to clear his mind and play some relaxed golf. That seems to be when he is at his best.

    Read your comments and it was the 2017 Northern Trust at Glen Oaks. Remembered as I was a Marshall for that. It was a bomb DJ hit on 18..

    Oh, well. I thought the gremlins started leaking into his head at the 2015 PGA. Jason Day was so far ahead on the fairways on 15 and 16, it was a different game for Jordan. Never had a chance to get back.

    Trevino's statement is point on. Correct me if I'm wrong but Tiger believed he could not sustain his swing which is why he and Butch changed it. You can say the same thing for Tiger and look where it got him. More majors and more wins on the tour.

    Isn't his biggest issue the putter? When he was winning majors, seems like he made every putt. He has never been a great ball striker. He did start to have some issues with the swing when he tried to get more distance.

    Interesting theory Deno. I would argue that his problems started way before that. The final round at the 2016 Masters is where I think it started. Even the 2017 British Open win was a grind and he hit it everywhere on that final day. That was his last win, a year and a half before his wedding. I don’t see outside distractions lowering his desire. I believe he is actually trying too hard and a family life will eventually benefit his performance. If he never wins again, I will still say “hats off” for doing what most of us can only dream of doing.

    I'll have yo agree with you on most of those Dale. Maybe it's because my game went South after marriage. Just made 50 years and my game is just showing signs of recovery...lol

    Just 41 years for me so far. I do recall having the kids really took away from my practice and playing time but golf was just a hobby for me. Can't say my real job suffered in any way. Still doing that 41+ years later too. :) Jack gives Barbara a lot of credit for his career. Guess it all depends. I think we all agree, whatever it takes, we would like to see Jordan back in the top-10 someday.

    When you make changes chasing distance, it just doesn't always work out. He was never the straightest driver but now he hits a least one driver per round off the planet. Probably giving away 2 strokes per round. His putting was really good, but when you constantly have to make putts for par instead of birdie it will wear on anyone. Miss a few birdie putts, find a your rhythm and they start going in. Not so much when it's always for par.

    I think all of the above is contributing to his slide. I believe it started with distance, then it leaked into trying to hit it closer because his putter started to leave him. Then he probably fought through his personal life changes (engagement & marriage) interfering with chasing distance, accuracy and putting. Like Trevino said, 2 things don't last - dogs chasing cars and pros putting for pars. I hope he gets it back, he is a class act and good for the game. I think he has a pretty good scoring average at Augusta, you never know.

    He just needs to get out of his own head. Needs to hit fairways. We all know he can. Hopefully he can get back to where we hear about him every week. He’s a great guy for golf.

    Hes supposedly working with Butch Harmon now, hopefully we start to see some improvements in his performance

    I feel that Spieth fell into the same trap that a lot of the younger players have. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DONT FIX IT. I give you Nicklaus, Player, Trevino and Palmer. Same swing in their 80's that they had in their 30's.

    He certainly has stepped up his game this last few weeks and many hope it's a sign for a fantastic 2021 for him. I think the PGA Tour is more exciting with Spieth in the hunt.

    I am glad to see Jordan Speith has turned the corner and is getting better week by week. Maybe he just needed to to get a second look at it . Keep up the great work Jordan. Good luck.

    He is a class act and will be back
    Lots of good young players coming through but that is normal and they will have issues during their careers
    Lets see how their records compare to his in ten years time
    He will win again and I hope he get the career majors slam
