    Greetings,

I am interested in the new Catalina putter that will be offered in the Studio Style this coming Spring. The specs call for 10-gram sole weights for the 35-inch putter, which would be the length I would like.

Now, I have a SBST stroke, and I currently game the Triple Black Newport Long Neck 35" which suits that stroke and does very well for me and I like as I have wanted a blade style putter that fit my stroke.

One thing I also like about the LN Newport is that the sole weights are 30-gram that adds a level of stability I really enjoy. I would like to see that stability in the Catalina if I moved on one because it is a great looking putter amongst other things.

    So, my questions are:

    1. Anyone with Catalina experience that could offer some insight and on the putter itself? 2. Thoughts on switching the spec'd 10-gram weights to 30-gram weights?

    Thanks in advance!

You can buy weights after the fact on the site. I game a Champions Choice Newport 2 (2021) and it has 35g weights and I've been thinking about picking up a Catalina when they're released, and have been thinking about this as well.

If you prefer a heavy head, go for it. You can put any amount of weight in them, it's whatever works best for you.
