My iPhone 4s is on order and was wondering if anyone knew of a good gps app. Also, any other quality golf apps.

I use Golfshot on my iPhone 4 as a GPS and to track my scores/stats. It works really well.

how does the battery hold up for 18 holes ?
  5. I have used the golfshot app on my iphone and it drains the battery quickly (depends on how often you look at yardages, time the screen is displayed/on, etc...)...I purchased a mophie external battery and now the problem is solved...excellent.  I did however upgrade to a skycaddie recently since the yardages are delayed slightly on the golfshot but if that is not an issue it works very well!

    Enjoy!

I find that if I shut off push notifications, wifi, and bluetooth, then I can usually get through 18 holes with 10-20% of my battery remaining. Golfshot has a battery save feature that helps a lot, and I use that between shots. Note, I'm checking yardages on just about every shot, and I've been known to use Golfscape as well.

    I have an iPhone 4.

I got SonnoCaddie for my iPhone 4 and it works pretty good. It does drain the battery. I also have a SkyCaddie SG4 and it's more accurate so I think I will use it instead of the iPhone.

Dave, I agree...if you shut down most of the features on your iphone you can through the round as well as using the battery saver on the program (note when you come out of saver mode it has to reconnect briefly with the gps satellite so sometimes you get a short delay but otherwise works great).

Golf GPS by "Swing by Swing" is a free golf GPS app that works great. They have  an upgrade option for scoring too. I use that for GPS, and I use the free Golfshot app for scoring and analysis. That is great feedback.

For Team Titleist, I go to their mobile site on my iPhone, then save that page to my home screen, viola! App like...
