Maybe we could work some sort of package deal Trappers Turn in Wisconsin Dells area, or some other central location.  A Friday, Saturday event would be fun.

Was thinking of visiting French Lick this Spring...please let me know if thast is a possibilty. Also, we have a "few good golf courses" here in the Chicago area <g>. It is pretty centrally located and some pretty decent courses will not empty your wallet.

Since everyone seems to be suggesting locations in the upper midwest, I'll suggest an option that is a little farther south in the midwest.  How about Annbriar in Waterloo, IL?

Just be happy you are not in the northeast right now!!

I'm definitely interested in this, unfortunately couldn't make the event last year at TPC Deer Run, but absolutely want to make it if possible this year.  Any takers for further south?  Possibly Crooked stick in Indianapolis,IN,  Belle Reve in St. Louis, MO,  or Dalhoosie CC in Cape Girardeau,MO?   Annbriar is beautiful as well.   

I'm going to have to agree with Dr. K South Bend hometown as well...has some good tracks big Blackthorn fan...currenty living in Indianapolis has some good places like Praire View and also plenty of Pete Dye courses...Midwest meet up would be great count me in fellas...GO TO HELL WINTER

Glad to see that there is a lot of interest for the 2015 Midwest event.  Looking forward to playing this year.

Hoping I can make it this year.  Last year fell on my 10 year wedding anniversary and I couldn't miss that!

Although there are a lot of good golf courses here in Minnesota for reasonable prices, it admittedly is not centrally located to the rest of the Midwest.  I would vote for something in Wisconsin or Illinois, although the South Bend courses are good and are located in NW Indiana right on the Indiana Toll Road.  Looking forward to such an event.  I hope I can participate.  

The South Bend courses are great.  Back in the day tried to qualify for the US. Open at South Bend CC and another year at Blackthorn.  (Do they still have the blarney hole?).  My choice is Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford,IL.  Great track amazing facilities and The staff would go above and beyond for such an outing.

Count me in!  I live in Northern Indiana but would be willing to travel to meet the group.  Blackthorn and Warren are nice for Northern IN and I have been looking at Central or Southern IN for a late April trip.  Let's make it happen.
