It's been a while since I've posted, I've been super busy. But I've had time to get out on the course.

Since then, I've posted my best scores: broke 80 with a 79, and I'm scoring 38-41 consistently on 9!

I'm going to have to get fit for a different ball now, my Pro V1x is spinning back WAY too much on the green.

Wow. If a ProV1x is spinning that much, is there a firmer ball you could even go to? Might have to start hitting 3/4 wedges with more club to take spin off of it.

I'm going the opposite direction to a softer ball for a bit. Last time I got out, I was hitting a Pro V1 and it wasn't spinning near as much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Congrats on the scores, always nice to do that consistently. Sounds like you are eager to change balls, I'd recommend sticking with it and getting a larger pool of results first. Unless of course, you have taken several rounds and noticed this affect.

Congrats on those Scores Brandon.  I broke 40 this past season as well for 9.  Oh what a Great Feeling that is.  I currently play Pro V1

Don't waste your time or money buying different golf balls. There is definitely a ball in the Titleist family that will work for you. My best advice would be to find the next Titleist ball fitting and sign up ASAP. Not only will they tell you the best ball for your game but the session is very educational.

Back when I was playing competitively twice a week (good golfers for decent dough), I had a bunch of 77s. Could never get below that. Haven't broken 80 the last three years-getting old I guess plus back problems. This year, when I run out of my last dozen or so new Pro V1s, I will switch to Pro V1x for awhile. I tried a couple of sleeves toward the end of last season and liked the results. I feel like a traitor after playing Pro V1 pretty much since they were introduced.

ProV1X spinning too much?  Have to let that information sink in my head.
