Looking at adding an indoor putting area in my basement. Any suggestions on mats / aides?

Was eyeing either a Big Moss mat or the Puttout system (aide and mat).

Any feedback on Puttout? Seems hot now - but most new things are the 'best ever' until next year.

Goal would be to groove/improve my basic stroke. I can practice bending putts at my local course. No need to add break/have anything overly complex indoors.

    thanks

I have the Perfect Practice Putting Mat. It's pretty good, I feel.

I have had my eye on the Perfect Practice may, then started seeing reviews that the surface had imperfections in the transition section, or kinks from packaging/storage that made it frustrating. What was your take? I was so close to buying and now am hesitant to spend that kind of money.

I haven't had any problems with it. I keep the mat rolled underneath with the roll stored where the cups are. Keeps the transition area smooth.

I added one to our training area at the house. We use it more then I would have expected. The pressure trainer is a must buy !!
  7. Love the puttout. I noticed when I was using it while we were locked down the next time I played I was making a lot more putts from 10-12 feet at a minimum leaving them at tap in. Really helped my feel and speed control.

I have the PuttOUT Pressure Putt Trainer and the PuttOUT Pro Golf Putting Mat. I even carry the PuttOUT Pressure Putt Trainer in my bag for warmup and training purposes and with the current issue with the flag sticks, I have found it quite useful and challenging, however, I find the mat is not as good as I thought it was or it is advertised. It does not lay completely flat; not even on a 100% flat ground.

Agree with everyone above mentioning the PuttOut family of products. While my PuttOut mat doesn't lay flat on the ground, the part that is curled up is behind the putting target, I actually like this as it offers me a sort of back stop if I hit a putt a little harder than I should. They also have some cool product releases on the horizon.

I have the Birdie Balls putting mat. One of the best mats I have ever owned.
    Very realistic feel and roll

I have the Big Moss in my office. I love it. Rolls true and I think about an 11 on stimp.
