Others headed to Golfweek Amateur National Tournament?

    I am gearing up for my first trip to Hilton Head and will be also participating in my first Golfweek Amateur Tour national championship. Anyone else going? Anyone else been before and have any tips for the big event?

    Actually never heard of it. But did some research and seems it is a flighted stroke play tournament that one has competed in over the year. Congratulations on making the championships. Fairways and greens.

    Thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement! Being someone from NYC, I am vigilant on the masks and hand washing. I am most concerned about the others I will be playing with. I know there is a bit of variance in the golf world on the Covid situation, but with all these people coming together, hoping people are respectful of one another.

    I’ll be there as well. This is my first trip but our Tour here in Michigan has been great for following mask usage, social distancing etc. I’m extra cautious and am pretty sure you will see the same there.

    I am hoping so... the no single cart situation is understandable on volume, but considering walking due to the Covid and apparently my courses can’t accommodate single person carts at RTJ or CCHH
